Summary:
Under supervision of the Executive Director this position provides administrative support and coordinates activities of Mari’s Place for the Arts. Performs duties such as tracking enrollments, greets and interaction with a diverse group of external and internal visitors. Independent judgment is required to prioritize and organize workload.
Qualifications and required key competencies
· Associate or Bachelor’s degree. /High School Diploma or equivalent
· 3 years of administrative experience or a combination of education and experience
· Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
· Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
· Strong oral and verbal communication skills; ability to follow policies and procedures
· Ability to provide quality work; demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Essential Functions:
· Develops, maintains and updates files in database.
· Supports teachers, and organization curriculum and programs.
· Maintains current information in organizations website.
· Generates reports, prints, faxes, copies, scans and mails documents relating to program services.
. Creates and communicates with new partners.
· Types and design general correspondence, memos, charts, and flyers related to programs.
· Manages programs supplies office supplies.
· Answers phones, takes messages or fields/answers routine and non-routine calls.
. Write and post updates about programs through CRM platform, web site and social media.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as
computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
