Medium-size Cardiology Practice located in Kew Gardens, Queens, is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist that meets the following requirements :

Proven experience with insurance verification of commercial and HMO plans and ability to demonstrate understanding of technical medical terminology (e.g. copayment, deductible, coinsurance, primary / secondary payor, referral).
Proven experience with obtaining prior authorizations for various exams through Evicore, AIM, Healthcare Partners websites, as well as directly from insurance companies via phone.
Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently on the phone and in person.
