Job Summary

Plans, manages, and oversees Rio Salado College's enrollment services contact center with primary focus on enrollment services with supplemental support with training, contact center staff onboarding, digital communications support, admissions, password reset, and other related functions and provides management and leadership assistance in the coordination, delivery, and assessment of services. Acts as a second-level manager to the Dean of Student Affairs, Enrollment and has responsibility for planning, managing, and overseeing program services. This position oversees all employees on the enrollment services contact center team.

This position also leads the team of Training Development Consultants in the Quality Assurance Department. Assists in the implementation and coordination of QA initiatives and Student Affairs projects as well as the creation and implementation of staff training and training support resources.

Essential Functions

40% - Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews and evaluates the work of the Rio Salado College Support Services staff by providing guidance, oversight, and administration of support services for primarily enrollment services; provides comprehensive enrollment services inbound and outbound support management in the coordination, delivery, and assessment of services offered to support the college; and identifies training needs and opportunities; provides staff training, coaching, and mentoring
30% - Oversees Training Development Consultant team with the implementation and coordination of Quality Assurance Department initiatives and Student Affair projects. Creates and hosts training sessions for targeted employee demographics. Prepares documents, spreadsheets, presentations and reports for training and/or project purposes
20% - Monitors and evaluates services provided to meet defined objectives and outcomes; researches, analyzes, interprets and evaluates program and industry trends, program data and related regulations; serves as a representative and coordinates collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders, agencies and/or community and educational partners; works with student affairs leadership to implement program and operational changes related to strategic plans; provides research and analytical support for service areas, assessment of qualitative and quantitative outcomes and/or other initiatives; prepares and submits data and reports and correspondence; and provides reporting to area leadership
10% - Plans and oversees the development and dissemination of program/service area communications and materials; develops, reviews, facilitates and/or delivers public presentations and overall communication of service area; performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, sociology, business administration or related field and five years of progressively responsible student services or related experience that includes such things as administration of policies and procedures, program oversight and two years of supervisory experience.

OR

An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications

A. Master's Degree
B. Three (3) or more years' experience working in a Student Affairs division within MCCCD
C. Three (3) years or more of experience managing a team or department
D. Three (3) years or more of experience working with CRM system, student information systems, telephony software including telephone and/or chat support
E. Two (2) years or more of experience with designing and facilitating training or teaching

Special Working Conditions

Hours of operation 8 :00 AM - 5:00 PM Off- Peak ; 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Peak; varied schedules within these hours. May be required to sit for a long period of time viewing a computer monitor. May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs. May be required to work evenings and weekends . This position has a July 10th, 2023 (or later) start date.
