About The Position

As an HRIS (Workday) Analyst, you will identify, develop, and recommend business processes, system changes, and improvements to enhance the functionality of Workday for Maricopa County users. Working individually and with team members and stakeholders, you will provide analysis, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of Workday.

We Require

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications

We Also Value

  • At least two years of experience in analysis, research, and resolution of Workday issues
  • Ability to identify, develop, and recommend business process and system modifications in Workday

Job Contributions

  • Provides first-level day-to-day technical support, analysis, research, and resolution to various Workday issues
  • Tests modifications and upgrades
  • Identifies, develops, and recommends business process and system modifications
  • Works closely with functional business areas to understand and evaluate business needs and processes and analyze the impact of system changes
  • Works with vendor and consultants on fixes, upgrades, enhancements, and problem-solving
  • Administers user access by adding, modifying, or deleting users access
  • Assists with system upgrades and migrations
  • Creates customized reports relaying statistical information
  • Creates user documentation to explain how to use Workday
  • Provides clarifications to the Workday development team

Working Conditions

Work occurs primarily in an indoor office environment. Tasks require manual dexterity of hands and body to operate office equipment. This role requires management of frequent interruptions, time pressures, high work volumes, and multiple, complicated, and unscheduled tasks. The position includes team-oriented activities and interaction with all levels of County management and personnel, and the public. Responsibilities require concentration, accuracy, ethical conduct, and a professional demeanor.
