GGG- Green Growth Group, a division of MariMed Inc. is seeking Edible Packaging Agents at our brand-new cannabis cultivation, production and processing facility in Illinois!

SUMMARY: The Packaging Agent performs duties as assigned within the packaging department working with edibles including filling, portioning, weighing, counting, labeling, packaging, cleaning, tracking inventory, and regulatory compliance that adheres to the regulations established by the Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act and the Illinois Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains performance in a fast paced and goal-oriented work environment. In addition, it is the responsibility of the Packaging Agent(s) to possess the ability to stay on track and work at a high efficiency in a repetitive manufacturing work environment.
- Responsible for a variety of processing duties, including but not limited to accurately and efficiently packaging products with high attention to detail to meet daily packaging productivity, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Accurately fill, package, seal and label all packages containing cannabis infused/extracted products in accordance with Illinois compliance regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Routine visual inspection of product for correct consistency/quality, each Packaging Agent is responsible for real time product quality inspections during packaging.
- Completes the packaging plan by following detailed written & verbal instructions as well as floating between necessary SKU assembly lines as per the direction of the edible packaging Lead.
- Notifies direct supervisors if potential bottlenecks and/or issues related to production operations arise.
- Also, required to weigh out finished products with extreme accuracy and consistency and carefully handle product preparation while ensuring labeling and packaging of products are compliant with Illinois regulations.
- On non-packaging, this position will assist in the kitchen and/or various other area of the Cultivation facility in addition but not limited to assisting the grow team, harvest team, and trimming team with daily tasks and serving as a driver/passenger for deliveries as needed.
- Always follow good manufacturing procedures.
- Assists other Production sub departments as directed by the supervisor and/or leadership team.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous cannabis industry experience, a plus
- Reliable; dependable

- Flexibility to pivot on tasks as directed
- Must be age 21 or over, as required by state regulations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and push/pull up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to perform the following physical tasks: Periods of prolonged sitting and standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
