Job Description
ExacTech Inc. in Sturgeon Bay, WI is looking to add a CNC Machinist to our 2nd shift team. As part of our machining team, you will be responsible for programing and operating an HNK horizontal boring machine.
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM (3-day Weekend)
Job Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate the HNK CNC machine for milling, cutting, and drilling sheet metal
- Lay out and use trammels, dividers, protractors, compass, squares, and punches for accurate set up and programming
- Use blueprints to plan the process of pre-machining, sub weldments, and main weldments
- Use overhead cranes and jib cranes to move steel parts into position on the machine
- All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
Job Qualifications
- Technical degree in CNC operation or relevant experience is preferred
- The understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is desired
- Experience reading Blueprints and drawings is preferred but can be taught
- Experience using a tape measure and the ability to convert measurements into decimals is a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
