Marion Security Agency has an immediate opening for a Security Officer in the Freehold New Jersey area.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Some shipping and receiving duties
- Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
- Monitoring surveillance cameras to watch out for any disruptions or unlawful activities
- Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management
- Providing excellent customer service

- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Protect property and assets by enforcing access control policies and procedures
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent any security breaches
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related incidents
Qualifications:
- Valid security certificate or license is required
- Previous experience in loss prevention, surveillance, or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and other emergency response procedures is a plus
- Military or law enforcement background is highly desirable
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
