Cashier/Host

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing the front-of-house operations. Your exceptional customer service skills will play a crucial role in ensuring an outstanding dining experience for all patrons.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency.
• Take and process customer orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring timely service.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with precision while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to enhance guest experience.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including menus and dining spaces.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
