Human Resources Generalist

Marketing Alliance Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist. This position reports to the HR Manager and performs activities related to recruitment, onboarding, timesheets, and employee relations for their assigned facility.
Responsibilities:
- Recruits, hires, and onboards personnel to assure operations are fully staffed to meet the needs of the customer.
- Manages timesheets, submits to payroll, and coordinates temporary staffing to assure the facilities have the manpower to run effectively.
- Makes themselves readily available to employees and temps to answer questions and assure they have the information needed to be successful in their jobs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Bilingual - English/Spanish preferable
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Word/Excel.)
- Ability to clearly communicate (written and verbal.)
- Ability multi-task in a fast paced, deadline drive environment as well a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
