What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Video Production Specialist position at MarketScale?
MarketScale, the platform for B2B community-generated content, is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Part-Time Video Production Specialist to join our team and work from our state-of-the-art studios on the 53rd floor of the Bank of America Plaza in Downtown Dallas.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in video production and live video production as a technical director (switcher), a proven track record of creating high-quality content, and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of cinematography, lighting design, and live video production.
Responsibilities:
- Produce live video events for our clients, utilizing vMix, Brandlive, NDI and other industry-leading tools.
- Execute in studio productions with clients, ensuring high quality recordings.
- Manage the technical aspects of live video events, including video and audio routing, encoding, and streaming.
- Utilize NDI and video over IP technologies to create a seamless and efficient live video production workflow.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure we are providing the best possible service to our clients.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and in working order prior to studio shoots and live events.
- Setup equipment, sets, and lighting design prior to productions, and other duties as needed around the studios.
- Maintain and elevate studios based on client needs and industry trends.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in video production
- Strong knowledge Cinematography, Lighting, and industry leading equipment
- Strong knowledge of vMix, and other video production tools and software
- Experience with live video streaming and encoding, including RTMP protocols
- Strong knowledge of video and audio routing, signal flow, and standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members during productions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
