Job Title: Merchandising Associate
Reports to: Senior Director of Customer Experience
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY:
Seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and organized Merchandising Associate with experience in merchandising and content strategy. This individual will work on the Merchandising team to implement new, creative, and innovative digital merchandising strategies. Success in this role means bringing originality, passion, energy, and talent to the team each day. This individual must be excited about our products, and understand trends and our customer base. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment. They will work on the Merchandising team to help ensure fresh and exciting content is delivered to our online audience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Site Merchandising (e.g., Sorting, Filtering, Search, Descriptions, Visuals, Pricing) to achieve core merchandising goals (i.e., Increase Basket Value - ASP, Units/Order, Product Margin, Turns, PDP conversion)
Support strategic merchandising plans while keeping financial success markers as a top priority
Use data to continuously test, measure, and optimize all programs
Assist with the management of photography samples
Assist with new product life cycle to ensure all items are photographed and launched in a timely manner
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all product and merchandising content launches
Assist with site administration, such as product activation, categorization, and recommendations
Observe global fashion trends and create trend reports through the lens of the Marleylilly customer
Work with the Sourcing/Product Development teams to keep up to date on new products, suggest new patterns/product suggestions or color ads to existing products, and trends to ensure that all new initiatives are being represented digitally
Draw conclusions from data and take timely action accordingly
Assist with SKU Plan seasonal management worksheets against seasonal revenue budget, assortment planning and meeting preparation.
Assist with future growth initiatives, category expansion research, product research
Help develop concepts for Marleylilly & Marleylilly Kids
Observe customer response on social media for trend management
Collaborate with the Creative Team to ensure strong visual execution

QUALIFICATIONS:
College or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or the combination of a high school diploma with several years of experience.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical and strategic skills with ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
