Description
Marposs Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of high precision electronic measuring and process control equipment, has an opening for an Import/Export Associate.
Marposs designs and manufactures a wide range of products and solutions from, precision measurement of mechanical components of before, during and after the manufacturing process, process controls and machine tool conditions, leak tests for all industrial sectors, and automatic assembly and control lines. Marposs is a primary supplier of the major automotive manufacturers, for both ICE and EV applications, as well as the aerospace, biomedical, energy, consumer electronics and glass containers sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the movement of product, equipment, and material in/out of country in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and to comply with relevant local and country regulations and process
- Prepare and process import/export documentation according to regulations
- Provide export compliance guidance and support to all business areas
- Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving any issues regarding billing or shipping discrepancies.
- Data Entry
- Assist with physical inventory control
- Prepare various reports
- Request quotes
- Issue purchase orders
- Verify orders for correctness
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently.
- Detailed understanding and working knowledge of the federal regulatory requirements in the areas of U.S. export compliance and documentation, including, but not limited to Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- Proficient in MS Office and Access
