JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for ensuring staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guests' needs are met. This role supervises the hotel’s food and beverage services ensuring compliance with Marriott's high standards of service are met.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all hotels maintain the highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency in accordance with the hotel’s expectations.
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
- Inspect storage areas for organization, Complete scheduled inventories and stock, and requisition necessary supplies.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Flexibility to work during nights, weekends, and holidays
