Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Registered Architect with 10 years of professional experience and a strong focus on and portfolio in education design to join our team. This position offers a clear career path to a leadership role within the firm, including opportunities to lead a studio, the education market/sector, and the firm as a whole. If you are an architect who thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated to take on increasing responsibility and leadership in project delivery, team development, and client relationships, we’d love to hear from you.

This role will contribute to all phases of project development while progressively assuming leadership responsibilities, including guiding project teams, mentoring emerging professionals, strengthening client partnerships, and helping shape the firm’s education design practice across K–12 and/or higher education projects.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • B.Arch or M.Arch degree from an accredited program
  • 10 years of architectural experience, including 5 years in a project management or project leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience in education design (K–12 and/or higher education); civic or cultural project experience is a plus
  • Proficiency and hands-on experience in Revit required; AutoCAD proficiency a plus
  • Virginia professional registration required; CSPM, LEED, WELL, or other specialized credentials a plus
