Your Role:
The HR Director will play a central role in shaping our Firm’s culture and driving growth. This leader will oversee talent management support for approximately 250 corporate staff and legal professionals and lead a team of two HR Coordinators. The HR Director will be an instrumental business partner responsible for advising and leading employee relations, performance management, compensation and learning and development for staff. The HR Coordinators reporting to the HR Director will handle recruiting, HRIS data maintenance and benefits administration. As a valued member of our leadership team, the HR Director will report to the Chief Talent & Diversity Officer and contribute to the Firm’s strategic direction.
Your Impact:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement innovative HR strategies that align with our Firm’s strategic goals and growth plan.
- Talent Management: Oversee the full life cycle of talent management for staff, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, employee development and exits.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of HR Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Employee Relations Expertise: Serve as a business partner on employee relations matters to managers and employees. Provide expert guidance and recommendation to ensure equitable resolutions, fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
- Compensation and Benefits: Lead the administration and evolution of competitive compensation and benefits programs for staff. Regularly evaluate market trends and industry best practices to attract, reward and retain top talent.
- Risk Management: Manage risk mitigation in HR, including employment law and financial risks. Oversee business insurance coverage, workers' compensation and liability insurance.
- Learning and Development: Drive employee growth and development through comprehensive learning and development initiatives.
- Oversee Legal Support Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the Legal Support Manager who oversees a team of approximately 50 legal support staff. The Legal Support Manager will report directly to the HR Director.
- Office Operations & Facilities Management: Manage the facilities leader who oversees office operations which includes maintenance, office events, cleaning, office assignments, moves, vendor management, office protocols.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Partner with the Chief Talent & Diversity Officer to develop initiatives that create a culture of inclusion throughout the entire employee life cycle.
- HR Leadership: Act as liaison to the executive leadership team providing strategi HR business partner input and expertise.
YOUR SKILLS:
Required:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources, which includes a minimum of 5 years in a Senior HR leadership role.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a people manager, including a team of HR professionals.
· Proven ability to mediate conflict, influence others and resolve disputes.
· Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies.
· Demonstrated experience working in service-focused culture.
· Senior level advisory, collaboration and negotiation skills.
· Excellent leadership, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations.
· Knowledge of HRIS systems, recruiting and benefits administration.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Preferred:
· Law firm experience
· Advanced degree in related field

Salary : $165,000 - $205,000
