Patient Accounts Specialist

Hourly Rate: $17.00-$19.00/hour (based on experience)

We are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) in office candidate. Remote work option not available at this time.

What you’d do in this role:

The purpose of the Patient Accounts Specialist is to work to get every claim paid, and every patient account paid at 100%. 

You’re a match if:

• You are a fantastic problem-solver and detail oriented
• You have experience with successful billing and collection procedures
• You have experience with managing patient accounts effectively, ensuring timely collection of payments and minimizing outstanding balances
• You demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with insurance representatives and state liaisons regarding billing issues
• You have experience with receivable and deposit reports and the ability to work with management to resolve recoupments and report on progress
• You meet targets and goals and contribute to company growth
• You have strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You have a stable work history and attendance
• You have strong organizational and time management skills
