The Store Stock position will assist with the receiving and transferring of merchandise, inventory, and knowledge of inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following
- Assists with inventory and checking-in of merchandise.
- Receiving and transferring of merchandise.
- Maintains appropriate levels of merchandise in stores from back stock.
- Communicates with Store Manager regarding levels of merchandise on floor and in backstock.
- Insures merchandise is stocked adequately with all sizes and colors represented.
- Keeps inventory neatly folded and organized by sizes, racks neat, displays and shelves neat, labeled, and organized.
- Must have complete knowledge of stores stock and basic POS system knowledge
- Assists in upkeep of store by vacuuming, seeping, dusting, and maintaining store displays and merchandising.
- Changes displays regularly and assures merchandise is displayed attractively relating to visual merchandising.
- Resolves problems that may arise i.e., distribution errors, markdowns, prices, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Previous customer service experience in fast paced environment and or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift 50lbs or more regularly
