The duties of the Postdoctoral Researcher include:
- Develop bioinformatics workflow to meet the needs of NGS data analysis including quality control, analysis and report generation following specific timelines.
- Support for internal projects and external collaborations.
- Create reports and prepare technical presentations.
- Write manuscripts and communications for conference presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Computer Sciences, or related area.
Experience
- Experience working with real world genomic data, preferably in a research environment.
- Strong background in bioinformatics tools, R, linux, and/or AI/machine learning.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Familiar working in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of scRNA-seq/Spatial transcriptomics/AI/machine learning is highly beneficial.
