JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Job Title: Special Education Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- File reviews on new SPED students
- Assign new SPED students to case manager
- Keep an updated caseloads list
- May serve as district representative for IEP meetings (if licensed)
- Train new staff on school programs, diploma options, attendance policies, transcript evaluations, etc.
- Provide SPED training as necessary to SPED/General Education Staff
- Oversee youth transition specialist program
- Provide advice on situations as they arise with staff
- Review beginning of the year registration for SPED students
- Accommodation/Modification folders
- Other duties as assigned by Special Programs Director
Stipend: $1500
