As an Activities Assistant, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to plan and implement programs that inspire joy, foster community, and enhance well-being for our residents in an Assisted Living Facility.
Salary: $17.00- $19.71/hr. based on years of applicable experience
Schedule: Sunday/Monday (9:30am-4:00pm) – Tuesday/Wednesday (9:00am – 3:30pm) Part-Time/24hrs

What You'll Do
- Plan, organize, and lead activities tailored to residents' interests and needs, including games, parties, crafts, exercise classes, and spiritual programs.
- Promote resident participation and engagement in activities that support their physical, mental, and social well-being.
- Coordinate with and supervise volunteers, ensuring they feel supported and engaged.
- Care for facility pets and assist with maintaining recreational supplies and equipment.
- Provide transportation for outings and appointments, driving the facility bus safely and responsibly.
- Work closely with residents and their families, offering emotional support and fostering a sense of community.
What We're Looking For
- Education/Experience: Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) or Home Care Aide Certification preferred. Experience in elder care or activity coordination is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal), creativity, and the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Compassion: A genuine interest in caring for the elderly and enhancing their quality of life.
- Requirements: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a facility bus.
