What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock Person position at Martin Wine Cellar?
Martin Wine and Spirits, family-owned and operated since 1946, specializes in wine, spirits, imported beer, gourmet food and gift baskets. We believe that employee ability, energy and ideas contribute to our ongoing success. We are looking for a Stock Person at our Baronne Street location.
Stock Person Responsibilities:
- Stocking and fronting shelves
- Assisting in the warehouse with incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Maintaining warehouse organization
- Assisting customers with carry outs
- Assisting as needed in other areas of the store, cleaning shelves, etc.
- Maintaining the over all organization of the store
Stock Person Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; related experience accepted
- Ability to lift and carry 40 pound wine/liquor boxes a majority of the day
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
