What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Registered Dietician - PRN position at Maryland Masonic Homes?
Maryland Masonic Homes (MMH), a premier continuing care retirement community located in northern Baltimore County has an exciting opportunity for a PRN Licensed Registered Dietitian.
MMH provides quality care in independent, assisted living, and healthcare; and is now a proud participant of the Medicare program. The Dietitian will work to provide quality customer service and care that leaves a lasting impression on those we serve.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Completes nutritional assessments to be included in resident care plans
· Interviews each new resident within seven days of admittance
· Manages the diet program for residents
· Monitors weight gains and loss (fluctuations) of residents and tracks monthly
· Attends the Monthly Quality Assurance Meetings and reports on trends
· Coordinates special dietary needs with the Director of Dining Services
· Reviews and approves the Dining Services menu cycle
· Interprets doctors diet orders to align with company approved diet descriptions
To be considered candidates must be a Licensed Registered Dietitian. Candidates with prior experience in skilled nursing care highly preferred.
