What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator/Receptionist/Surgery Scheduler position at Maryland Oculoplastic Surgery?
Two positions are available. A full-time permanent position and a 2-month temporary position (Mid August 2023 through Mid October 2023) are available to support staffing needs. Join a growing team providing specialized Oculoplastic Surgery care to patients from Maryland. The office is in Ellicott City, Maryland. The patient care coordinator will join the team to ensure an excellent patient experience from office visit consultation to surgery. In addition to receptionist duties, the new employee will receive training in and assist with surgery scheduling. Our electronic medical records system is EClinicalWorks.

Part-Time / $18-$20 per hour depending on experience.

Prior experience in a medical office required.

Duties
Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, check-in and check-out, answering patient questions.
Answering phones, emails, faxes related to patient care
Office business through email, word processing, electronic medical records
Coordinating with insurance companies regarding patient benefits
Surgery scheduling and coordination.

Hours 30-40 hours per week.
