What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Instructor (Ohio Hi-Point Position) for 2025-2026 School Year position at Marysville Exempted Village School District?
This is an Ohio Hi Point Career Center position working at the Early College High School.
REPORTS TO:
Career Tech Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
A valid Ohio career-technical engineering or manufacturing certificate or license, or high school diploma with at least five years of industry work experience in the engineering field.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Strong background in CAD, engineering principles, and 3D printing. Effective organizational, planning, communication, and project management skills. Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement program options, auxiliary services, and curricular materials which support the diverse learning needs of all students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide learning opportunities for students through multiple modalities. Facilitate student participation in designing projects and defining criteria for projects. Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to students to prepare them for employment or further education in the field of engineering. Provide opportunities to student to earn various industry credentials. Encourage students to explore learning opportunities in the classroom and in industry. Evaluate student performance, work cooperatively with parents, business/industry community, and school personnel to maintain a program which meets Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and industry standards. Serve as SkillsUSA advisor.
