What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Health Nurse position at Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation?
Under the direction of the Community Health Nurse Supervisor, the incumbent will provide nursing services on a level consistent with his/her qualifications and scope of work and be flexible to provide care throughout the community in the following settings: clinic, home care and daycare. A current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse License or licensed Registered Nurse within the State of Connecticut; a minimum of three (3) years experience for LPN and 2 years for RN in medical field utilizing license required. Must have knowledge of medical record documentation. Must maintain a valid driver's license; must provide a yearly DMV Certified Driving History.
As a tribal health facility funded by the Indian Health Service, the incumbent is eligible to participate in the Indian Health Service Student Loan Repayment Program or HRSA Student Loan Repayment Program.
