Our client is a growing organization seeking a hands-on Controller to own day-to-day accounting operations and build scalable financial processes. This role will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, strengthening internal controls, and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting to leadership. The Controller will play a key role in formalizing accounting infrastructure as the business grows, including post-acquisition integration.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, inventory adjustments, and a consistent, well-documented month-end close process.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities, manage weekly invoicing and payables, supervise cash disbursements (wires and check runs), and monitor cash flow.
• Design and implement formal accounting processes and internal controls, with a particular focus on improving controls and accuracy around inventory and PO-based processes.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, support leadership decision-making, and work closely with internal stakeholders to fulfill financial and reporting requests.
• Establish and maintain books for new or acquired entities and support purchase accounting and AR/AP treatment related to acquisitions.

Controller Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or equivalent credential preferred
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of the month-end close process
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, internal controls, and inventory accounting

Controller Compensation:

• $80K - $90K salary dependent on experience
