Job Functions:
- Completes initial nutritional assessments, care plans and appropriate documentation for those residents assigned.
- Completes annual/significant change / quarterly assessments / episodic notes on residents assigned in the E H R (Electronic Medical Record).
- Participates in resident care conferences.
- Establishes meal patterns for residents following physician orders, updates food preferences/dislikes in the Meal Tracker System.
- Participates in the facility QA program completing audits as assigned.
- Participates in clinical rounds and skin rounds with team
- Assists in monitoring the food service on the unit households as directed.
- Will attend inservice programs to maintain registration status and update knowledge.
- Responsible for communication with other departments as needed regarding resident nutritional care.
- May assist Clinical Manager as requested with policy development, menu review, inservice education and overall monitoring of the Clinical program.
- Responsible for following facility dress code and name tag procedure.
- Will assist in the absence of Clinical Manager.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.
- Past experience in food service/Long term care preferred.
- Neat, clean appearance.
- Desired membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian
The base salary range for this position is $55K - $59K per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education & prior accomplishments.
The position may be eligible for additional compensation not listed here, including but not limited to shift differentials, incentives or bonuses, as applicable.
