Responsibilities
As a Fiber Splicing Supervisor, you will support a team of Fiber Splicers in the upgrade of existing plants, plant extensions, and new build construction.
In addition, you will:
- Oversee multiple splicing crews, give direction, and QC their Jobsite activities
- Develop your team’s skill set and knowledge of telecom construction and Splicing
- Assist crews and offer educated and creative solutions to troubleshooting
- Provide a high level of customer service when interfacing with customers
- Lead by example and support the company-wide safety culture
- Drive your team to meet deadlines and produce quality projects
- Document productivity, needed resources, etc.
About You:
- Safety is a value you live by
- You have 3 years of Fiber Splicing experience
- Have a strong background in Aerial work
- Have experience with 288 count fiber and below
- You enjoy problem-solving and like to troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
- You embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team
- You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office apps., Excel, and the ability to learn custom software
- Ability to work M-F 7am - 4pm Overnight cut-overs as needed
