Master Solutions, a fast-growing, innovative, and stable provider of a full range of IT consulting services located in Naperville IL, is seeking an IT Technician - Tier 2 to join our team, help us to continue to build a great place to work, and provide top-notch service to our clients.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Customer Satisfaction, the IT Technician - Tier 2 will handle a variety of tasks to assure that our clients' technology environments are operating smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with great troubleshooting and analysis skills to provide solutions-based network and computer support for a wide variety of client companies.
To the qualified IT Technician - Tier 2 we offer:
- Sign-on Bonus
- $70,000 - $90,000 salary, commensurate with experience and skills

The ideal candidate will approach their work with a high level of professionalism, a love for learning, and a strong proficiency in supporting the networks, workstations, and other technology assets of our clients. They will possess excellent phone skills, create positive client interactions, and bring an enthusiastic team spirit to the support of our customer’s technology needs.
Primary duties of the IT Technician - Tier 2:
- Responding to and resolving technology issues reported by clients and alerting systems
- Following procedures for diagnosing and resolving issues
- Work on projects individually or as a team
- Maintaining records of work performed and client documentation
Requirements for the IT Technician - Tier 2:
- Aligns with company vision and values
- Previous experience with help desk support
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Able to travel (locally only) to client sites as required and transport equipment with own vehicle
- Able to lift 50 pounds
Technical requirements:
- Able to install, configure, and troubleshoot workstations, printers, and other peripherals
- Familiar with network hardware & troubleshooting
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products
- Familiar with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft SharePoint
