About the Role: As our Design Engineering Manager, you'll report directly to the Vice President of Engineering and oversee the entire product development lifecycle—from concept and design to testing and launch. You'll lead a dynamic team, foster innovation, and collaborate across departments to ensure our products exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse design engineering team.
- Oversee product development from concept to launch, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement design strategies for manufacturability and innovation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, marketing, sales, and other teams for seamless product launches.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5 years in product design.
- 5 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams.
- Expertise in:
- Fluid dynamics, plastics, and composite materials.
- Manufacturing processes like injection molding and thermoforming.
- SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Experience in the spa or recreational products industry is a plus.

- Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch).
