MasterControl is on a trajectory of rapid growth and is currently seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our vibrant sales and marketing team based in Utah. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of initiating contact with prospects, nurturing relationships, and qualifying leads for our regional sales teams. This role (SDR) will collaborate closely with our North American sales and marketing teams. Your primary responsibility will be to generate Sales Accepted Opportunities from prospects who have engaged with our marketing initiatives. You'll focus on optimizing your outreach efforts through calls and emails to maximize contact rates and enhance lead-to-opportunity conversion. Successful SDRs will have the opportunity for advancement within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and nurture the sales and lead pipeline to generate Sales Accepted Qualified Opportunities.
  • Strategically optimize daily activities to improve lead-to-opportunity conversion rates.
  • Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Zoominfo tools proficiently to research accounts and identify key decision-makers.
  • Follow up promptly and thoughtfully on Marketing Qualified Leads according to our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Effectively communicate the company's value proposition to decision-makers across various industries to assess buying interest.
  • Proactively stay updated on company product knowledge and market trends through website resources, online webinars, and marketing materials.
  • Engage with social media platforms for monitoring, research, and sharing relevant information with content producers and respondents.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities in CRM and update records as necessary.

Skills and Experience:

  • Positive and energetic phone demeanor with excellent listening and writing skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick adaptability to change and eagerness to learn new tools and processes.
  • Prior experience with salesforce.com CRM, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or sales support, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not required.
  • The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, methodical, and tenacious, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. This role offers potential for career advancement within the organization and includes an uncapped commission structure as part of the compensation package.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000-$65,000 equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
