What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skate Guard position at Matanuska-Susitna Borough?
This position is responsible for provide services to arena customers and enforcing arena rules and regulations.
Work is performed and duties are carried out in accordance with established policies, procedures, and Borough core values: Accountability, Customer Focus, Dedication, Integrity, Responsiveness and Teamwork.
D1 - DOEHigh School diploma or equivalent.
Less than one year of experience. Relevant experience may include skating, security, patrol, customer service, cashiering and lifeguarding.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical.
Completion of required Incident Command System (ICS) courses in accordance with established Borough policy.
- Supervises on-ice customer skating activities during public skate sessions; enforces rules and regulations.
- Assists with customer admissions and skate rental.
- Assists with birthday party preparations and clean up.
- Provides first aid in the event of accidents.
- Performs related duties.
