Position Available: School Safety Officer
Mater Dei High School has an immediate opening for two full time, non-exempt School Safety Officers. Ideal candidates should have 5 years of experience in a safety or security positions. Job duties will include but not limited to:
Monitoring student designated parking lots- Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:15pm
- Providing lunch time student supervision with faculty members
- Providing student supervision before, during and after school
- Providing student supervision during office hours
- Providing oversite for student on campus events and activities
- Providing oversite for student on campus athletic events
- Works with all departments on proper safety procedures
- Supports facilities as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills to support a high-performance culture dedicated to the core mission of the school is required.
Experience: 5 Years direct experience preferred in a safety or security job
Education Required: High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
