What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Sales Support Representative position at Material Handling Sales, Inc.?

MHS, Inc., a leading supplier and installer of Material Handling Equipment for Warehousing/Storage and Manufacturing since 1980 has an immediate opening for a Customer Service/ Sales Support Representative in our Yarmouth Maine Office.

Working closely with Senior Management your responsibilities will include

  • Coordinate Sales Projects in our office working closely with our field sales people.
  • Prepare quotations to send to customers
  • Research and request pricing from vendors
  • Enter and place purchase orders with vendors
  • Communicate with customers on project status and site readiness
  • Coordinate freight shipments and deliveries
  • Coordinate and review the work progress.
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  • Coordinate record keeping including scanning and filing of job folders
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking job progress
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Assist in managing the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders
  • Assist in risk management to minimize risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Assist in monitoring of sub-contractors
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Assist in Development spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in customer service and sales support is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel

  • Good Verbal Communication

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
