Mathtech, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to join our Integrated Communications Systems Group (ICSG) division located in Falls Church, VA.
ICSG offers world-class digital communications systems and engineering services that meet the stringent requirements of the DoD and are flexible to support the diverse needs of civilian agencies and the private sector.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Directly interfaces with and proactively supports Engineers, Project Managers, and Quality Assurance Manager.
- Electronic and mechanical assembly.
- Installs components, units and printed circuit boards following specifications.
- Uses electronic, hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
- Fabricates parts, cables, and test fixtures.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or educational equivalent sufficient to demonstrate required competencies.
- 2 years of electronics assembly experience.
- Solid computer & typing skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to work well independently and as a member of a team.
- Organization and ability to prioritize multiple projects and assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
- Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR and EAR (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected individual such as a refugee or asylee).
Work Location: Falls Church, VA (onsite)
