The Team:
The Electronics D&D department supports and enables the creation and development of a wide range of electronic toys - from simple lights & sounds toys to intricate electro-mechanical systems and internet-enabled toys. The toy categories and brands we support are Barbie, Hot Wheels, American Girl, Games, Action Figures, Vehicles and Dolls. We support the whole breadth of product development - from early prototype stages all the way through production.

The Opportunity:

Engineering Electronics Technician performs intricate technical tasks to assist engineers with building out electronic systems. Able to calibrate and use soldering equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and other common electrical technician equipment. Able to read schematics and troubleshoot an electronics system to determine cause and remedy for malfunctions.

What Your Impact Will Be:

• Enable the Quick Wins for the Business by support rapid prototyping and soldering of PCB's
• Build out electronic systems with assistance from Electronic Engineers
• Maintain an organized workspace and execute on workload queue
• Ability to communicate effectively with designers and other engineers
• Strong problem solving skills

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Completion of Electrical Technology or Electrician Certification, Electrical Systems Technology program or equivalent experience is a minimum
• Experience: 1-3 years of demonstrable skills in soldering, and proper handling of PCBs and equipment.
• Team Player: Ability to do depth of work for Electrical Engineers (primarily) and Mechanical Engineers (secondarily). Social skills to interact with creative minds that may not be technical and need help translating their concepts into reality.

The base hourly rate for this position is between$23.40 - $29.35.
