Press Brake Operator
A growing company in Kenosha, WI is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join their 1st shift team. You will be responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC Controlled forming, cutting, and rolling equipment.
Requirements of the Press Brake Operator
- 4 years of fabricating machine experience
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications, shop drawings, and blueprints
- Working knowledge of operating procedures for press brake and Ring Roller
- Skill in using and maintaining fabricating equipment and related tools of the trade including scales, protractors, fixed angle, and radii gauges
Responsibilities of the Press Brake Operator
- Reviews job / production orders and interprets accompanying prints and drawings to determine job requirements
- Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches
- Use a CNC controller to input information into machine
- Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints
- Check height, depth, and thickness using a tape measure, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments
- Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake
- Configure bend allowances for sheet metal and plate steel (stainless, aluminum, and regular steel)
Schedule is 1st shift, 5 : 00 AM 1 : 30 PM Monday through Friday
Pay is $25.00 an hour
