Warehouse and Delivery Associate

Our Warehouse and Delivery crew is essential to Mattress Land's operations. The Warehouse Delivery Person ensures safe and efficient delivery, loading, unloading, and installation of mattresses and foundations while maintaining quality service and participating in inventory management tasks. This position requires heavy lifting, safe driving and navigation skills, as well as frequent customer interaction.

Warehouse Delivery Driver's job:

• Makes safe and efficient deliveries of mattresses, foundations and accessories to our customers
• Assists with receiving freight, organizing, loading and unloading deliveries, and driving the trucks
• Participates in weekly cycle counts and floor audits
• Prepares product for deliveries and customer pickups
• Maintains quality service and representation of the company
• Completes various reports through our inventory management system
• Maintains knowledge of our point of sale (POS), inventory tracking, and delivery systems
• Works as part of a team to be efficient in the daily duties that are asked
• A willingness to learn and a positive attitude are a must
• Installation of mattresses and foundations is required for this position

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to effectively learn/use computer-based point of sale, inventory tracking, and delivery systems
• Ability to navigate to delivery addresses
• Good communication and customer service skills is essential!
• Ability to use basic hand tools

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driving a large vehicle or box truck

Physical Requirements:

• Get in/out of a box truck multiple times a day
• Sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Heavy lifting
• Lift and carry 100 pounds multiple times throughout the day
• Pass a DOT physical (select locations)
