As our Accounts Payable Associate, you’ll play a vital part in our finance operations by ensuring vendor payments are accurate, timely, and well-documented. You’ll work closely with our AP Supervisor and collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve issues, reconcile statements, and maintain financial accuracy.
What You'll Do
- Reconcile vendor accounts and research discrepancies in pricing or quantities
- Match invoices to purchase orders and code them accurately in the ERP system
- Process AP checks and maintain organized AP files
- Prepare credit applications and assist with year-end 1099 processing
- Respond to internal and external inquiries via the AP department email account
- Support the AP Supervisor with check runs, vendor setups, and reporting as needed
Required
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience in an Accounts Payable or general accounting role
- Experience using ERP or accounting systems
