What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Helper position at Maui Chemical & Paper Products (TJ's Warehouse)?
KITCHEN HELP responsibilities and duties:
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping, peeling, cutting, washing, etc.)
- Make salads, sandwiches, dressings and sauces
- Pack plate lunch and other food items for sale
- Keep a clean, sanitized and organized kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor inventory and notate when items need to be replenished
- Assist customers at the lunch line and/or seafood counter, as needed
Qualifications and skills:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to read and follow recipes
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation requirements
- Must provide TB Clearance
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts and on weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
