We are seeking a full-time non-exempt
Operations Supervisor to join our Maui Oil Company - Kahului, HI team. If you are interested in working for a local, family-owned business and enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, this position is for you!
Position Summary
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing lubricant and car wash chemical inventory, vendor coordination, generating reports, processing orders, maintaining records, and coordinating deliveries. Lead, train, and manage Operation Department staff and oversee the maintenance of the cardlock and warehouse equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with county, state, and federal laws and regulations, handling customer inquiries, complaints, payments, credit applications, and invoicing over-the-counter sales. Assists with managing the Car Wash when the General Manager is absent, on weekends, and nights outside of business hours for maintenance.
Knowledge, Education and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and prior inventory management experience is preferred. Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft operating systems, have a general understanding of office procedures, possess problem-solving skills, communication and customer service abilities, and the capacity to work effectively independently and as a team. The ideal candidate must be able and willing to learn new tasks, supervise and coach a team, use sound judgement and maintain confidentiality. Forklift certification and Hawaii Class A/B, C Underground Storage Tank Operator Certification or ability to be certified is required. Previous experience of knowledge of working with underground and above ground storage tanks and regulations is preferred.
Compensation: Starting at $27.00
