Coaching:
Every teacher at Maureen Joy, regardless of prior teaching experience, receives an instructional coach who has demonstrated a track record of excellence in the classroom. Your coach observes and meets with you regularly as a part of the school's observation/feedback cycle. Coaches also facilitate data meetings to help adjust your future instruction so you can best meet your students' academic needs the next day or week. Our overall coaching model focuses on improvement over evaluation and we take joy in seeing both our scholars AND teachers grow throughout the year.
