Director of Provider Recruitment

We are partnered with a rapidly growing functional medicine organization based in Oregon that is transforming primary care.

With 18 clinics today and five more opening in 2026, they are on a mission to deliver innovative, wellness-focused care that empowers patients and providers alike.

As the Director of Provider Recruiting, you’ll build and lead the recruitment function from the ground up—spearheading national provider hiring efforts while managing a high-performing team. This role is a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on recruiting, ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented healthcare environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and scale a high-performing provider recruitment function, aligned with growth goals (~50 hires/year)
• Manage and mentor a team of two direct reports
• Develop recruitment strategy to support clinic expansion and improve efficiency using tools like Greenhouse ATS
• Own full-cycle recruitment for critical Physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) openings
• Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and operational leaders to forecast hiring needs and ensure strong onboarding
• Travel (~25%) to clinics for provider engagement, bootcamps, and team-building events

What We’re Looking For

• 5 years of full-cycle provider recruiting experience (Physicians and APPs)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or relevant experience)
• Proven experience managing or building a recruitment function within a healthcare organization, health system, or ambulatory care group
• Strong leadership skills, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for provider engagement and retention
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on recruiting

Pay: $140,000.00 - $148,000.00 per year
