As the Director of Provider Recruiting, you’ll build and lead the recruitment function from the ground up—spearheading national provider hiring efforts while managing a high-performing team. This role is a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on recruiting, ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and scale a high-performing provider recruitment function, aligned with growth goals (~50 hires/year)
- Manage and mentor a team of two direct reports
- Develop recruitment strategy to support clinic expansion and improve efficiency using tools like Greenhouse ATS
- Own full-cycle recruitment for critical Physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) openings
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and operational leaders to forecast hiring needs and ensure strong onboarding
- Travel (~25%) to clinics for provider engagement, bootcamps, and team-building events
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of full-cycle provider recruiting experience (Physicians and APPs)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or relevant experience)
- Proven experience managing or building a recruitment function within a healthcare organization, health system, or ambulatory care group
- Strong leadership skills, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for provider engagement and retention
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on recruiting
