Description
Max Aerostructures is seeking a highly skilled Deburr Lead to join our growing team in Wichita. Applicants must demonstrate they have the ambition, strong work ethic, knowledge, ability to lead a team, and technical aptitude to perform a variety of deburr functions according to detailed specifications and meet strict quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three years of experience in aircraft/aerospace deburring
- Ability to blend/smooth areas of parts with the use of various tools (air grinder, belt sander, file, etc.)
- Experience deburring metals including steel, aluminum, and titanium to remove excess material from parts without causing damage to part
- Ability to follow dashboard and prioritize work
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have strong work ethic, drive to achieve high levels of performance and can demonstrate a detail-oriented nature and on-time attendance dependability.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as well as stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat and walk on a regular basis.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must wear gloves, eyes & ear protection and adhere to safety procedures at all times.
- Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
