Max's Swing Lounge, located at the iconic Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts, is opening in November 2024! As a premiere destination that seamlessly blends luxury dining, indoor golfing, and an energetic sports bar atmosphere for a sophisticated twist, we're looking for a dynamic, energetic and outgoing professional bartender to join our team!

Max Hospitality has been a cornerstone in the restaurant industry for over 30 years, boasting high-volume locations in the greater Hartford and Springfield area. Our focus on class, style, and culinary creativity ensures we stay ahead of the market and keep our guests delighted.

The ideal candidate for this position is accustomed to working in a professional capacity and will bring a mix of eccentricity, class, and passion to the role. As a bartender at Max's Swing Lounge, you will not only mix fantastic drinks but also help create an unforgettable atmosphere for our guests.

You'll start at Max's Tavern, located at the same address, where you'll get acclimated to our high standards and operations. This will prepare you to transition seamlessly to Max's Swing Lounge once it opens.

Responsibilities:

• Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Experience working in a high-volume, professional setting.
• Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Ensure proper portion control and adherence to recipes
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Verify the identification and age of customers
• Balance cash receipts and record sales

What We’re Looking For:

• A keen sense of organization and cleanliness
• Ability to multi-task in a high-energy environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous bartending experience is a plus, but not required
• Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
