What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL- Class B Drivers position at Maximum Quality Foods,Inc.?
The CDL CLASS B TRUCK DRIVER drives a truck or automobile over an established route to deliver and pick up products/merchandise, assist with shipping and receiving responsibilities, and collect money from customers by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe, courteous manner and according to applicable state, local, and DOT(Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Picks up products/merchandise from various vendors on time.
- Delivers products/merchandise to various locations on time.
- Ensures delivery of appropriate products/merchandise in accordance with customer invoices.
- Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.
- Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to transportation.
- Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management.
- Returns credit products/merchandise with appropriate paperwork and informs delivery management.
- Assists in maintaining a neat and clean workplace at all times.
- Assists with stocking the shipping and receiving department, including lifting and carrying cases and placing them in appropriate racks.
- Reports overstock occurrences to transportation immediately.
- Provides the customer with a copy of the signed invoice/credit form for products/merchandise delivered and/or picked up.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures, paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
