Our May Center Schools for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, and our May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders offer full-day, year-round educational services to children and adolescents.
Our schools focus on building communication, social, behavioral, vocational, and academic skills. We base our programs on applied behavior analysis, or ABA, which has been shown through hundreds of scientific studies to be the most effective method to teach children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities.
The May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders successfully educates students with complex needs and co-occurring diagnoses. These young people often require a combination of physical, medical, cognitive and social/behavioral therapies in an environment that supports skill development and rehabilitation.

May Center is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources for professional to manage a range of HR operations including employee relations, investigations, performance management, benefit administration and leave of absences for 300 employees supporting Residential Programs and Day Rehabilitation Center in Eastern, MA Center with administrative office in Revere, MA.

- The position will report to the Divisional HR Business Partner and will function as the primary HR Business Partner for the Center.
- Support business initiatives and collaborate with the leadership team
- Manage employee relations guide and counsel managers on employee relations issues
- Conduct workplace investigations
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws as well as company policies and procedures
- Provide expertise on health and welfare benefits programs, performance management, staff development and employee engagement
- Participate in the onboarding process for and oversee the recruitment and HR operations processes for May Center EMA
- Collect HR metrics and work closely with central Talent Acquisition and Training teams to fill position
- Bachelor's degree required; PHR or SPHR strongly preferred
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Human Resources operations, employee relations and employment law
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong workplace investigations skills
- Proven ability to function independently and as part of a team
- Supervisory experience required
