Shift Schedules

• 1st Shift 7:00am to 4:00pm;
• 2nd Shift 3:00 pm to 11:00pm
• Ability to work overtime is required, occasionally Saturday's.

Position Overview:

The Packager I ensure all shipping orders are accurately and efficiently processed to customer requirements. Work is performed under general supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Picking of inventory to accurately fulfill orders.
• Verify shipping instructions and shipper packet information.
• Effectively package finished products manually, or using various packaging equipment, in order of importance based on provided dashboards.
• Stocking of supply orders
• Always adheres to company safety standards.
• Always maintains security and confidentiality of all files.

Competencies:

• Basic windows/internet browser
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Good communication skills including active listening.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Full knowledge of shipping and packaging concepts, practices, and procedures, including understanding router's, certifications of compliance, set-up sheets, purchase orders, and shippers.
• High level of attention to detail required.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's

• Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
