SUMMARY
The Enrollment Coordinator supports the Director of Enrollment in planning, coordinating and directing those activities designed to attract and enroll qualified students in sufficient number to produce an academically and socially sound school.
Reporting to the Director of Enrollment, the Enrollment Coordinator is an energetic, positive, warm person who serves as a concierge who relishes the opportunity to nurture relationships with people and then to help them connect in meaningful ways.
The Enrollment Coordinator is willing to learn new systems and approaches and to contribute in all ways to the smooth functioning of a very busy Admissions Office. A great deal of comfort with a school environment and interaction with students, parents, and prospective families, as well as a very professional and pleasant phone demeanor is a must, as are a positive, upbeat, can-do attitude and a solid sense of humor. The Enrollment Coordinator should value creativity and collaboration, have great attention to detail, and strong time management skills. A positive customer service perspective is paramount.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively explain and communicate to prospective families the mission and program of Mayfield Junior School and the many opportunities a Mayfield education offers.

Understand and embody the mission and philosophy of the school.

Answer incoming emails and phone calls in a professional and prompt manner with a smile perceived by the recipient.

Develop and cultivate relationships with prospective students and families throughout the admissions process.

Assist in planning and coordination of all aspects of on campus recruitment events.

Provide tours of the campus as needed.

Track inventory of general Admissions supplies including promotional materials and giveaways.

Process all applications and preparing/maintaining/uploading admission files.

Prepare weekly schedule of admissions events and campus guests for distribution.

Maintaining and regularly updating database of admission information.

Maintenance of the admission department calendar.

Work as a member of a team in support of front office management, assists as back-up for front office coordinator. Answers the main phone. line, distributes mail, welcomes and screens campus visitors.

Scan and upload admissions applicant materials and maintain completion of applicant files.

Prepare and organize admissions materials for events, inquiries and school fairs.

Organize and oversee on campus admission events, including calendaring, coordinating set up and tear down.

Provide tour attendance follow up and incorporate notes in to SAS.

Manage Admissions Data and support the creations of reports to reflect admissions activity.

Schedule and communicate to applicants throughout process as needed, including scheduling Playdates and Student Shadow dates and Interviews.

All other duties as assigned by the Administration.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Intermediate or Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Mac based (word), and SAS systems

Experience with Google Drive

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job the employee works in an environment where the noise level is usually moderate and constant distractions due to constant foot traffic, phones ringing, and people talking.
