We are searching for an Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting team. The Accounting Specialist, along with four other staff members, will assist and support the Director of Accounting in overseeing the Business Office of the institution.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Receiving and recording cash and checks
- Prepare bank deposits and statements
- Accounts payable/receivable management
- Assist Resident Accounting with move-ins/move-outs
- Answer/assist residents with rent related questions
- Generate weekly and monthly reports
- Account analysis
- Data entry and record keeping
- Audit support
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Versatile individual with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
